Go Daddy Go!

Erik did a duathlon today (run bike run). Naya and Iris cheered him on while handing out water and directing traffic. Erik did great - came in 3rd place!

Darn Roseola!

The last few days were rough, not just on mom and dad but on me too! I was whiney and wanted to be held all the time, and feverish and cranky. Then yesterday mommy noticed a rash all over my body, and we all blew a sigh of relief - "it must be Roseola". The rash is already fading today (you can barely see it on the photo below) and mommy and daddy hope I'm in a better mood now.

Sad news...

Yesterday we went to our 12 week OB appt and the baby didn't have a heartbeat on the Ultrasound.... Early spontaneous abortion is pretty common ( 1 in 5 !), and we know it's likely for the best (gotta be tough to make it with the Damtinks!)

Everyone is okay, and Iris gets to live out her "only child days" for a while longer...

Fun at the Zoo!

Iris and I biked down to the Boise Zoo monday, and while she was a little terrified of being so close to the giraffes, she loved the penguins!

Iris loves Daddy's home-made smoothies!
