Winter hike

 The whole family (including the dogs) took a hike to the nearby foothills.

Felix wants to walk!!! He wanted to walk the whole way, but since that would have taken hours we picked him up for the second half (he didn't like that!)

I was taking pictures of the kids in their matching pajamas (they wanted to sit on my lap, not in front of me-  thank goodness for the iphone forward facing camera - if only it was more than 1 megapixel!).

When I said "Say Cheese", Felix said "cheese" - it was sooo cute so I took a little video of it to show you.

We have been reading the SLEEP book to Felix before bed. Usually we read it a few times, and stop to give kisses when we get to that page in the book. (Usually he is not trying to put his finger in my nose!)

We went to the library for "story time" and the kids were singing a song. You can see Felix enjoying (and dancing??) to the song and then clapping when the song is over!

We're twins!

Iris wanted to wear the same outfit that Naya was wearing, including a skirt, tights and boots! She even tied the back of her shirt with a rubber band to make it more fitting (where did she learn that from!?!?)

Erik's 40th birthday surprise!

Erik and I had a nice little getaway without the kids (!!) for his 40th birthday. We went hiking and biking in
Sun Valley and had a wonderful (relaxing) time.

I was invited to the Boise Zoo Volunteer appreciation party last month. We got some special behind the scenes interactions with the zoo animals (and free ice cream!)
