Summer's here! (sort of)

We've had some beautiful 80 degree days, and we've pulled out our sun hats, sun screen and shorts.

Feeding the Giraffes - 1 year later!

I took Iris to feed the giraffes last year - she was too scared to do it (but I thought it was awesome!) - see Tues, May 18, 2010.

This year she's braver and fed them some lettuce.

Last (?!) weekend of skiing

We thought that when we went skiing several weeks ago that that was the last time for this winter - but there's still lots of snow, and now more sunshine and longer days!!

Easter party

When Iris opened up her easter eggs and found candies in there, she looked at us and said "Only for adults?" ( we use the reason of "only for adults" to prevent her from eating or touching things like candy, gum, computers, toothpicks... - we'll see how long that lasts!)

It was kind of confusing for her when she saw the other kids eating their candy furiously - so we let her have one chocolate egg "as a special treat!"
